Tony is a very experienced workplace psychologist, trainer and consultant. Tony holds formal degrees in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, and Workplace Education.
Tony is the Managing Partner of ScotCoach. The consultancy though based in Scotland, operates globally.
In recent years, Tony has consulted with some of the world's leading multi-nationals including; Halliburton, Shell, Talisman Energy, Chevron Texaco, Exxon Mobil, Diageo, Citigroup, American Express, Royal Bank of Scotland, BP, ABB, McDonalds, 3M, AXA, DuPont, Coca Cola, and Microsoft. He was also the senior consultant to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and has recently consulted with the London 2012 Games Organising Committee.
Tony is also visiting Senior Lecturer - teaching in the CIPD Accredited MSc in Human Resource Management and in the A.M.B.A accredited M.B.A programme at the Aberdeen Business School. Tony has in-country experience in many countries, including; Finland, Switzerland, Ireland, Peoples Republic of China, Australia, Greece, Spain, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Fiji, United Kingdom, USA, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Hawaii, PNG, Nigeria and Singapore. From 1985 until 2001 Tony was a Director and owner of one of Asia-Pacific's largest Corporate Psychological & EAP companies, International Psychological Services Ltd.
Tony now consults and trains independently throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He regularly conducts high-level management development and leadership programmes for executives and managers in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Tony also conductions mediation and conflict resolutions services to organisations on a global basis.
Tony acts as an independent EAP procurement and tender consultant to companies in the UK. Tony was described by Business Insights Magazine in the USA as the ‘foremost EAP expert in the world’. Tony is also the past International Commissioner on the Employee Assistance Certification Commission (EACC), a former Committee Member of the International Employee Assistance professionals Association (EAPA) and a Consultant to the Employee Assistance European Forum (EAEF).
Tony has also been interviewed in publications as diverse as Rolling Stone, the Reader’s Digest and Vogue China. He has appeared on CNN, BBC, Trans-World Sport and many international television and radio stations.
He has published over 250 articles, papers, journal articles and book chapters. Tony has also delivered over 100 keynote addresses and conference papers worldwide.
